Rif. A0321 - Vogliamo presentarvi questa graziosa dimora, inserita tra case in pietra, archivolti e scorci suggestivi all???interno di un tipico borgo sulle colline tra Camaiore e Pescaglia. Il luogo sembra un angolo di paradiso dove si ha l'impressione che il tempo si sia fermato, dove i vecchi muri in pietra raccontano storie e gli abitanti mantengono vive le tradizioni dei tempi passati. Il piccolo borgo si può raggiungere sia da Lucca percorrendo la valle del Serchio, sia da Camaiore, percorrendo una via provinciale che ci conduce nell???entroterra, oltrepassando la Valfreddana. Dopo aver lasciato l???automobile nel parcheggio pubblico, si percorre a piedi una suggestiva via lastricata che in una manciata di minuti ci conduce alla Casa del Girasole.
La casa, addossata ad altre, è costruita in pietra ed è disposta su tre livelli, con una piccola corte lastricata, dove anche la recinzione in ferro battuto si inserisce nel tipico contesto, e dove un piccolo tavolo fa subito pensare ad un caffè all???aperto.
Sopra la porta d'ingresso un caratteristico ???sopra porta??? ci augura il benvenuto. Entrando troviamo un accogliente soggiorno con caminetto e finestra esposta a sud-est, una piccola ma funzionale cucina sempre illuminata dal sole; ancora al piano terra troviamo un bagno con doccia e antibagno/lavanderia.
Con scala a chiocciola di media ampiezza, si accede al piano primo, dove si trovano una camera e un essenziale ripostiglio, utilizzabile a seconda delle proprie necessità, con finestre che si affacciano a sud est; al secondo ed ultimo piano uno spazioso sottotetto, dotato di due finestre e un lucernaio, da cui si può godere di una meravigliosa vista sulla valle e sui piccoli borghi poco distanti. Nel suo insieme l???abitazione ha una superficie utile di circa 60 mq. E una corte esterna di circa 15 mq.
L???abitazione è stata interamente ristrutturata nel 2007. E' allacciata alle utenze pubbliche di elettricità, acquedotto e fognatura. Ref. A0321 - We want to introduce you to this lovely residence, nestled among stone houses, archivolts and suggestive views within a typical village on the hills between Camaiore and Pescaglia. The place seems like a corner of paradise where you have the impression that time has stopped, where the old stone walls tell stories and the inhabitants keep the traditions of times gone by alive. The small village can be reached either from Lucca along the Serchio valley, or from Camaiore, along a provincial road that leads us inland, passing Valfreddana. After leaving the car in the public car park, you walk along a charming paved street which in a matter of minutes leads you to the Casa del Girasole.
The house, attached to others, is built of stone and is arranged on three levels, with a small paved courtyard, where even the wrought iron fence fits into the typical context, and where a small table immediately makes you think of an outdoor café. Open.
Upon entering, a characteristic "above the door" welcomes us. Upon entering we find a welcoming living room with fireplace and window facing south-east, a small but functional kitchen always lit by the sun; still on the ground floor we find a bathroom with shower and dressing room/laundry room.
With a medium-sized spiral staircase, you enter the first floor, where there is a bedroom and an essential storage room, which can be used according to your needs, with windows facing south-east; on the second and last floor there is a spacious attic, equipped with two windows and a skylight, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley and the small villages nearby. Overall, the house has a useful surface area of approximately 60 m2. And an external courtyard of approximately 15 m2.
The house was completely renovated in 2007 and is connected to public electricity, aqueduct and sewerage utilities. The heating system with radiators is powered by LPG cylinders (available in the immediate vicinity), as are the kitchen burners and domestic hot water. The house is equipped with satellite internet connection.
Every detail was taken care of in the renovation and ordinary maintenance, the windows are in lacquered wood with double glazing; the wooden floors and stone details convey the warmth of the typical local materials, bringing the mind back to the habits of the past; at the same time, the attention to every detail and the excellent state of maintenance give freshness and comfort to the home.

The quiet of the village, its uniqueness and the comforts offered by the house also make it perfect for those who want to live it as a second home or to rent it for tourist use. In fact, the area offers various leisure opportunities. It is located within the Apuan Alps Park and some marked routes depart from the village, frequented by hikers, cyclists and bikers. A short distance away are the suggestive medieval villages of Garfagnana, and if you want to vary between the mountains and the sea, the latter can be reached with a distance of approximately 32 km.
