EMEA Instructional Designer
This position is part of GoDaddy Learning and is one of a small number of positions within the team that focuses primarily on developing in-person training, occasionally with a stretch to include eLearning. The primary role is to manage and create new curricula for GoDaddy EMEA, and also to collaborate with GoDaddy’s US-based Center of Excellence for Instructional Design. This requires deep understanding of learning across cultures, countries and languages.

This requires deep understanding of learning across cultures, countries and languages. 
Responsibilities:

Curate, evaluate, and organize all existing curricula used in GoDaddy EMEA; paying careful attention for opportunities to standardize and improve learning across the region and company.
Design and develop creative learner-centered in-person training programs and modules for delivery by instructors located around the world. The content typically focuses on GoDaddy products and sales methods. The outputs need to suit different cultures, language abilities, and learning styles. Although mainly focused on in-person (instructor-led), the work may occasionally expand to include synchronous and asynchronous remote learning, interactive e-learning modules, videos, device learning labs, job aids, facilitator guides and resource materials.
Adapt existing training courses built for the US to run successfully in EMEA. This can cover converting one-hour workshops up to converting multi-day training programs.
For the ideal candidate, the option exists to be involved in the beta testing of new in-person training programs and also in Train The Trainer roll-outs as part of handoffs from instructional design to the instruction team.
Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify options and recommend the most appropriate learning strategy to meet the performance needs of each audience across multiple global locations.
Engage with stakeholders, including executive sponsors, cross-functional subject matter experts (SMEs) prospective learners and others to support learning projects.
Develop and roll-out best practices in building training for a global audience. Drive and ensure best practices standardization across all projects, content and sites.

Requirements:

Degree or postgraduate degree in HR
CIPD certified (ideally to Level 5 or above) Five (5) years of experience with designing and developing in-person instructor-led training, to include knowledge and skills focus areas
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required in both English and German
Experience designing and developing at least 100 hours of training content intended for audiences in EMEA
Three (3) years’ experience with instructional design of onboarding, sales, and/or product-related training preferred
Experience working with Captivate, Camtasia, and/or Articulate Storyline, eLearning platforms, and web communication tools preferred, but not required
Experience in developing and deploying online curricula
Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, and of how adults learn within different cultures.
Strong program management skills, ability to track multiple tasks, and set deadlines
Cultural intelligence and cross-cultural communication
Working knowledge of learning and content management systems
Excellent skills in a collaborative, rapidly changing environment
